"The feeling of having experienced a situation that never really happened was one of the most confusing experiences, but also the most common, which happened in my daily life ...
But how would I explain to someone this strange feeling that invaded me?
It was something unimaginable to me that every time that happened, I was experiencing new feelings:
First, a certain degree of anxiety, though positive, derived from the experience by itself, and later, some fear by the inability to explain the phenomenon to myself, much less to others, that I was sure, they would not understand me...
But I felt some relief when I remembered the words of my mother telling me that this experience had a name - déjà vu - and I was not the only person who had experienced it and that, moreover, it was no evidence of any disorder.
And there were still the dreams, which evoked fragmented memories, and the premonitions, usually accompanied by a more disturbing feeling, that warned me about a danger or threat.
But the castle has always been familiar to me. I remember the emotion I felt when we arrived to Paderne.
It was a very strange feeling. I had the distinct and clear feeling that I have been there before...
And when I saw him, I knew. Somehow I knew he would come to me. But I knew it at the same time I saw him coming to me..."
